The Nursing in Practice Lifestyle Resource Centre collects the latest news, features and clinical articles on obesity, nutrition and travel health for practice and community nurses.

Obesity is a common problem in the UK, which is estimated to affect one in four adults and one in five children aged 10 to 11. Obesity and overweight can lead to a number of serious conditions including type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease and stroke.

Primary care nurses are at the frontline of tacking a problem which the government warns could "bankrupt the NHS".
